Day 1 Bagdogra Airport / NJP Station to Darjeeling, 75 km in 3 Hrs. 

Our representative cordially receives you on arrival at Siliguri (NJP Rail Station / Bagdogra IXB) and helps you to board the car.
The journey to Darjeeling (Alt 6825Ft / 2050M) follows the traditional Hill Cart Road that runs all along the forested hills, small villages and beautiful tea gardens. On the way, you might have a chance to see the famous Toy train chugging its way on the zig-zag track. Take a short break at Kurseong to see the beautiful valley covered with lush green tea garden and proceed to Darjeeling. The Queen of the Hills – greets you with all its grandeur: the great view of mountains and valleys dotted with tea gardens and forests, and a blend of traditional heritage and modern cultures. Check into your hotel. Overnight at Darjeeling.

Day 2 Local tour in Darjeeling
Early morning visit to Tiger Hill at 8442ft above sea level to experience the unforgettable sight of Sunrise over the Kanchenjunga Mountains. Visit Ghoom Monastery – one of the oldest Monasteries in Darjeeling on your way back to the hotel. Car service from 4.00 AM to 7.30 AM
Recommended - The Batasia Loop, a spiral railway track which enables the popular toy train to make a descent of about 1000 Feet, also features a memorial in homage to the Gorkha soldiers who fought for our country. You will get a majestic view of the entire Darjeeling town and the mountain range from the Loop.
After breakfast visit Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park (Closed on Thursday) to see some rare collections of high altitude Himalayan species like Snow leopard, clouded Leopard, Siberian Tiger, Red Panda and many rare mammals and birds in the natural surroundings.

Visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday) to see the priceless collection of mountaineering gears used by legendary climbers in the Himalayas. After that, we take you to the Tea garden on the undulating valleys for viewing the scenic landscape and tea plucking and processing (seasonal) then proceed to Tenzing Rock and Gombu Rock for some fun rock climbing activities. Now we take you to Bhutia Basti to procure the traditional handicraft items made by the local people. Visit the Japanese Temple dedicated to Lord Buddha and constructed in 1972. If you are lucky, you may be able to witness the puja at the time of your visit. Nearby is also the Peace Pagoda which has 4 avatars of Buddha, in the postures of sleeping, sitting, standing and meditating. Climb up the stairs to the top of the pagoda for a panoramic view. Back to Hotel for Lunch. Car service from 9 AM to 1 PM. Overnight at Darjeeling.

Day 3 – Transfer to Kalimpong, 55 Kms in 2 Hrs

Today, after breakfast, check out and board the vehicle to drive to Kalimpong (Alt 4100 Ft/ 1250 M). Travel via Jorebungalow, Peshok and Teesta Bazaar. Check into your hotel on arrival.

Local Half Day tour in Kalimpong - Get ready to board the vehicle and explore all that this quaint hillside town has to offer. Drive to Durpin Dara Hill which offers a panoramic view of Kalimpong town with the Kanchenjungha range beyond it, tea gardens along the slopes and Teesta and Reang rivers meandering below. ‘Durpin’ means binocular and ‘Dara’ literally means hill. Visit the Zang Dhok Palri Phodang Monastery at Durpin. The monastery has rare Buddhist manuscripts on Tibetology and religious murals. 
Visit the renowned Army Golf Course. After lunch, proceed towards Deolo View Point or Deolo Hill, which is very famous amongst the tourists and a great place to spend some time. Apart from some magnificent views, children can enjoy some moments on horseback and there are also some food stalls to keep tourists engaged. The Science Centre is a short distance away. Established in 2008, it houses several models based on science and works of many scientists. There is also a garden outdoors with activities to keep children occupied, like swings made of tyres, climbing ropes and even some mini replicas of dinosaurs. Keep time in hand for the most popular spot in Kalimpong – the Pine View Nursery. With over 1500 varieties of cactus and orchids, it is not only a botanist’s haven but a treat for all visitors. You will find cacti from all over the world. Car service for sightseeing from 1 PM to 4.30 PM.

Day 4 – Kalimpong to Pelling, 95 Kms in 3.5 Hrs

After an early breakfast, check out and board your vehicle for Pelling. The city of Pelling lies in West Sikkim. At an altitude of 7175 feet, it offers excellent views of the Kanchenjungha mountain range.  The road to Pelling – or Pemayangtse, as it is also popularly known as – passes through the border township of Melli and Jorethang. Melli is one of the few towns in India that lies across the border of two states. Jorethang is a small town that is situated on the Rangeet river in South Sikkim. On arrival, check into your hotel. 

Pelling City Half Day Local Tour - After a quick lunch, take a discovery tour of Pelling, which will cover some of the most popular local tourist spots. Darap village is located about 8 km away and is inhabited mainly by the traditional Limboo tribe, although there are locals who belong to other communities as well. Rimbi waterfalls and Orange garden are located close to each other. Famous for orange and cardamom plantations, you can spend some time here enjoying the serenity of the Rimbi river.

The magnificent Kanchanjungha Falls is a treat and perfect for a photo stop. Next, you move on to the holy Khecheopelri Lake, which is shaped almost like a footprint and believed to be sacred by the Buddhists. It is said that the surface is always pristine as birds in the area pluck up any leaves that drift to fall on it. Back to the hotel for a free evening. Car service from 1 PM to 4.30 PM. Overnight at Pelling.

Day 5 – Pelling to Gangtok, 130 Kms in 4.5 Hrs

After breakfast, check out and board the vehicle to proceed to Gangtok. From Pelling, the road to Gangtok passes through Melli and Jorethang once again. An alternative, slightly longer route passes by Legship, the outskirts of Ravangla town and Singtam. 

Gangtok is the capital of Sikkim. It is a modern city but with a great history and tradition. At 1,650 meters, Gangtok offers excellent weather throughout the year and offers multiple tourist attractions in and around the city. We assist you to check-in at the hotel. Overnight at Gangtok.
Recommended: Visit M.G Marg, the main promenade of the city. There are plenty of shops and eateries in the nicely decorated road where locals and tourists visit during the evening. Visit MG Marg is to be self-arranged and not included in our cost.

Day 6 - Tsongo Lake Day Tour
After a heavy breakfast, we take you to the famous Tsongo Lake at 12000 ft (3600M). We start around 8.30 AM in the morning from the hotel. You have the whole day to enjoy the snow and Yak ride at the scenic high altitude alpine lake near Indo-Tibet border. The 1 km long and 15m deep lake is considered sacred to the local people. The pristine clear water remains frozen during winter. Have fun with snow and enjoy an exciting Yak ride around the lake. Back to Hotel by 2.30 PM for lunch and have a leisure afternoon or roam around the market for personal activities. Car service from 8.30 AM to 2.30 PM.

Day 7 - Return to Bagdogra / NJP in 130 Kms in 4 Hrs
Check out from Gangtok and drive back to NJP/Bagdogra in time for your departure train/flight. Farewell and tour end.
