Terms and Conditions

Specific package / service-related pages may have specific terms and conditions which may vary from the information given below. In such a case the specific terms and conditions would override any General terms and conditions given below.

Cancellation Rules for package booking:

Cancellation Rule

No refund is admissible in case of cancellation on the day of arrival or later.
No refund is admissible if the tour is cancelled due to acts of God, civil/political disturbances or anything beyond human control.
In case of multiple services booked through Humro Tours on different dates, the date of arrival is the date on which the tourist is expected to avail of the first service from Humro Tours.

Cancellation Rules for Only Hotel booking:
50% of the booking amount is non-refundable
No refund is admissible within 30 days prior to the check-in date

Cancellation Rules for Only booking Government Accommodation:
No refund is admissible in case of booking of government accommodation such as forest bungalows, tourism department hotels etc.

Change in pre-booked services
In case the client requires any changes in the pre-booked service, such changes would be considered a new service. The cost for the new service is payable separately and adjustment with the cost of the original service is not admissible. Such extension or alteration of the original service is subject to both Humro Tours and the guests agreeing on the same. In case of any disagreement Humro Tours commitment is limited to the service already booked.

The cost for a standard package tour would Include
Meals for each member of the group as per meal plan given in the package itinerary, all accommodation on twin sharing basis in hotels, sightseeing as per itinerary, and all transportation. For each tour, normally specific "cost includes" details are given to the guests; such details would take precedence over the details mentioned above.

Package tour Costs do not include
Air Fare / Train fare, Personal Expenses i.e. Laundry, telephone calls, mineral water, tips & gratuity, soft & hard drinks. Additional sightseeing or extra usage of vehicle, other than mentioned in the itinerary. Entrance Fees & Guide charges. Any cost arising due to natural calamities like landslides, road blockage, political disturbances etc. (Such cost is to be borne by the client and directly payable on the spot). Any increase in applicable taxes. Service Tax & Insurance. Anything which is not included in the inclusion. For each tour normally specific "cost does not include" details are given to the guests; such details would take precedence over the details mentioned above.

Child Policy

Infant Below 5 yrs complimentary

Children aged between 5 -10 years can be accommodated with accompanying adults. This will entail additional cost referred to as 'Child Without Bed' or CNB in the tariff plan (CNB = Child no Bed)

A person above 10 years can be accommodated in a hotel with an extra cot. This will entail additional costs referred to as 'Child With Bed' or CWB in the tariff plan. (CWB = Child With Bed)

 

The hotel rooms in most places in the eastern Himalayas are smaller in size. Normally a maximum of 3 people can be accommodated in one room. So in a double sharing room, there can be maximum of 2 adults + 1 infant + 1 CWB or CNB.

In case of availing the complimentary Infant facility or CNB facility, it is the responsibility of the accompanying guardian to carry proof of age of the child. The hotel may ask for such proof at any point and in case of non-production may charge the guest an additional amount.
