4-day long short tour of Dooars and its most popular destinations. Gorumara and Jaldapara forests

  • Day 01 Arrival and Transfer to Gorumara National Park

    Reception at NJP railhead / Bagdogra airport. Drive to Mongpong (35 km.), a quiet place on the bank of river Tista. The forest rest house at Mongpong offers a panoramic view of Mahananda Wild Life Sanctuary. Enjoy your break at Mongpong watching colourful birds. A refreshing drive through tea gardens and forests takes you to Lataguri (55kms. from Mongpong). Lataguri is a small town in Dooars that is close to Gorumara National Park. Overnight at Lataguri.

  • Day 02 Local Sight Seeing at Gorumara

    Visit the Gorumara forest early morning on a forest safari. Back to the resort for breakfast. Full-day local sightseeing around Gorumara including a visit to Samsing - Suntaleykhola, Jhalong, Bindu and Murti riverside. Back to the hotel late in the evening. Overnight at Gorumara.

  • Day 03 Drive to Jaldapara

    Drive to Jaldapara via Chapramari forests. Check-in at the hotel/forest resort at Jaldapara. Evening at your disposal. Overnight at Jaldapara.

  • Day 04 Jaldapara forest safari and return

    Morning drive inside the forest. Jeep safari inside Jaldapara grassland for viewing the famous one-horned Rhino. Return to your hotel pack up and check out. Drive to NJP / Bagdogra for your return / onward journey. The tour concludes at the rail station/airport.

Inclusions

  • Hotel names are indicative, the actual hotels may be different in case the above hotel is not available on a particular date. Final hotel name will be communicated with the guests before confirmation of booking.
  • Meet & Greet upon arrival at Airport / Station.
  • Accommodation on Twin sharing basis. 
  • Extra Person / Child with Bed (CWB) sharing the room shall get the mattress. 
  • Hotel Accommodation for a duration as mentioned in the itinerary.  
  • Meal Plan - CP (Complimentary breakfast at Hotel only)
  • All Transfer & Sightseeing by 01 NON AC Indica (upto 3 Pax) / WagnR (Upto 3 Pax) / Tata Sumo (Upto 8 Pax) / Similar
  • All applicable Transfers & Sightseeing by a vehicle that will not be at disposal and will be exclusively used for the group as per the itinerary only (on point to point basis). 

Exclusions

 

  • Free km is 110KM/Day if it exceeds you have to pay Rs.10/- per km to the driver directly.
  •  Cost of optional / suggested tours, Guide charge, Sightseeing entrance fee,
  • Elephant and Jeep Safari cost.
  •  Cost for any other service not mentioned under the “Inclusions” Head.

  •  Cost for Airfare, Train fare, Toy Train Ride.

  • 5% GST

  •  Personal expenses such as laundry, bottled water, soft drinks, incidentals, porter charges, tips, etc.

Cancellation Policy

Within 3 weeks from the date of the journey - Cancellation Charge will be 50 % of the total package cost.
Within 15 days from the date of the journey - Cancellation Charge will be 75 % of the total package cost.
Within 10 Days & Less from the date of the journey - Full Cancellation or No Refund.

Child Policy

Child Policy:

  • Child Below 05 yrs complimentary
  • Child 5 -10 yrs. without extra bed as mention in cost column CNB (Child no Bed)
  • Above 10 years / Extra adult with an extra bed/mattress sharing room are same & charged as per.

Other Policy

  • All quotes are valid for a maximum period of 15 days. If confirmation and payment do not take place within 15 days, the quote will be invalid.
  • Tariff quotes given on our website may change without advance notice.
  • All tariffs given are valid for Indian Nationals only.
  • All accommodation is on a twin sharing basis unless otherwise mentioned in the quotation.
  • The hotel name mentioned are indicative and not confirmed. Before confirmation of the tour, we will confirm the availability of the hotel and suggest an alternative if the mentioned hotel is not available.
  • Extra Person / Child with Bed (CWB) shall be provided with a mattress & not bed
  • Any dispute arising is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Siliguri irrespective of any competence court present at the place of dispute
