Nameri Eco Camp

If you are visiting Nameri National Park and want to stay close to the forest, Nameri Eco Camp is your best bet. The Eco Camp is managed by a voluntary organisation and offers basic tented and cottage accommodation for nature lovers.

Location

Nameri Eco Camp is located on the fringes of the forests of Nameri National Park. The Camp is about 30 minutes drive from Bhalukpong and situated close to the Jia Bharali river.

Facilities and Activities

This is an idle spot for birding and angling. The river Jia Bharali is famous among anglers for golden mahseer species. The resort also provides rafting facility in the river jia bharali. You can go for a walk inside the forest with a guide. The resort has basic infrastructure in tented accommodation as well as couple of wooden huts. There is also a restaurant serving basic foods. All tents and cottages has attached toilet.

Tariff

Double accommodation without meal is Rs. 1800 + 5% tax. Major meals cost Rs. 300 per head and breakfast Rs. 200. Total meal cost for the day is Rs. 1600. The 5% tax is applicable on food bill as well.
